Australia, in defense of marriage  The Supreme Court declared unconstitutional the “marriage” between persons of the same sex
 On Thursday, December 12th, 2013, the Supreme Court of Australia declared, by unanimous vote, the marriage between persons of the same sex unconstitutional. Consequently, all the same-sex unions were legalized in recent weeks in Canberra, where the Legislature had expressed a favorable opinion, are annulled. They are, however, recognized civil unions.
