The Family Today: Between Vocation and Mission  Pope Francis has convoked the Ordinary Synod on the Family for October 2015
The XIV General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops—which will again discuss the family—convoked by the Holy Father will take place next year from 4 to 25 October under the title "The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and the Modern World". The announcement was made on Monday during the session of the Extraordinary Synod on the Family, whose final document, the Relatio Synodi, will be the starting point for the Ordinary Assembly in 2015.
