The Master sponsored by the John Paul II Institute is starting again this year too
"In order to support those who work as experts in family ministry, through specific formation that enables them to bear witness and announce the Gospel of marriage and the family in their community."
With this in mind, the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family is offering the Master in Sciences of marriage and the family this year as well. This two-year course—the first year is presential in Rome and the second distance-learning, "intended—explain the promoters—for the family pastoral workers of the local churches, offers an interdisciplinary path that provides a unified base composed of philosophical and theological preparation, with the contribution of the human sciences and pastoral care." Admission to the course, which has canonical recognition, requires, among other things, the three-year degree. Registration opens on 1 June. The degree authorizes its holder to provide counseling in family planning clinics dependent on an ecclesiastical authority, to direct Commissions and / or Offices for the Pastoral Care of marriage and the family, and to teach matters related to marriage and family in courses of Theology for Laity.
