«The family is, exspecially today, in the center of all the Church’s concerns». Pope Benedict XVI said this when he greeted Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, at the end of his farewell address, on February 28th in the Clementine Hall, on the last days of his Pontificate.
After recalling the Great Event of Milan, which was held from 30 May to 3 June 2012, Pope Benedict XVI urged Msgr. Paglia to look with ever greater fervor and enthusiasm to today’s family, and he renewed his thanks to all those in the Dicastery who work daily for the good of the family community and life.
