Prayers and condolences of the President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Msgr. Vincenzo Paglia
The tragedy of the aggression in Boston on Monday, April 15th, has traumatized everyone, in America and throughout world, especially as another attack is feared. The Pontifical Council gathered to pray for the victims and for the many wounded, and sent a message to Cardinal Sean O‘Malley, Archbishop of Boston and member of the Presidential Committee of the Dicastery, to express our closeness, solidarity and condolence on the tragic event.
«While our words will never adequately express the grief and the shock over the tragedy, we nevertheless assure you, Your Eminence, together with the local Church and the entire community of Boston, of great closeness, solidarity and support», it is said, among other thing, in Msgr. Paglia’s message.
