Cardinal Barbarin‘s Inaugural Lecture introduced the new academic year at the John Paul II Pontifical Institute
On October 28th, in the John Paul II Auditorium, Cardinal Agostino Vallini, the Pope’s Vicar for the diocese of Rome, opened the new academic year at the John Paul II Pontifical Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, of which he is the High Chancellor. Msgr. Livio Melina, the Institute’s President, reported on the last academic year. During the morning, animated by the music of the Paganini Duo, Cardinal Philippe Barbarin, Archbishop of Lyon, gave a lecture on "The Gospel of Marriage."
