"The Family with Pope Francis" was the theme of the Diocesan Week of the family, promoted this year by the Delegation for Family and Life in the Archdiocese of Toledo, which ended on April 25th.
 
Five TV shows, broadcast at 10:00 pm on the diocesan TV station (www.rtvd.org) were at the center, in the context between the two Synods on the family and shortly before the pilgrimage of many of the Archdiocese‘s faithful to Rome, from 15 to 20 May. Each transmission is divided into two parts: one devoted to the Pope‘s teaching on the family (parents, mothers, grandparents) and the other to living testimonies.
At the end of the week, in Talavera, the Diocesan Festival of the family was celebrated. At this gathering, José Manuel Dominguez Prieto spoke on "The Transmission of Faith in the Family." Then, all together, praying the rosary, the families went through the streets of the city of ceramics to the Basilica of Our Lady of Prado, where the Archbishop presided over Holy Mass.
