At the Vatican’s Press Office, on Friday September 20th, 2013 at 11:30 am, in a meeting with reporters sponsored by the Pontifical Council for the Family, the Dicastery’s initiatives on the 30th anniversary of the “Charter of the Rights of the Family” will be presented, and in particular the international Work-Conference on “The Rights of the Family and the Challenges of the Contemporary World”, scheduled from Thursday September 19th to Saturday the 21st, with the participation of nearly 200 lawyers from different countries around the world.
The speakers will be: H.E. Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family; H.E. Cardinal Francis Coccopalmerio, President of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts; and Prof. Helen M. Alvaré, Professor of Law at George Mason University in Washington.
