The words of the auditors—L’Osservatore Romano reports—repeatedly denounced all forms of abuse and violence, especially against women. From these interventions emerged the proposal of a clear appeal against trafficking in human beings, of which women with children are the primary victims.

Through fragments of real life, the role and dignity of older people was also underscored, along with the spontaneity of children who, with their sincerity, contribute to an authentic model of family life. The issue of natural methods for fertility regulation has been proposed, together with a commitment, to combat anti-Christian culture that also feeds on globalized economics and the social crisis. It was also deemed appropriate, finally, that Christian families unite more to manifest, through deeds, their fundamental values, beginning with mutual respect—perhaps even using the occasion of the baptism of children as a privileged place for catechesis and conversion.
