Today, in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore from 8:45 pm to 10:15 pm, Italian ecclesial associations and movements, in collaboration with the Diocese of Rome, will celebrate a Marian vigil dedicated to women and mothers under the title "Bring a flower to Mary ... and let truth blossom!". Vigils will be held simultaneously at the Pontifical Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, the Shrine of the Holy House of Loreto, the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua, the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Assisi Portiuncula, the National Shrine of Mary Mother and Queen of Mount Grisa in Trieste, the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca in Bologna, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace of Montenero in Livorno, the Shrine of the Holy Face, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Bonaria, the Shrine of St. Pius in the Convent of Pietrelcina, the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of Tears in Syracuse, the Basilica Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat in Vallelonga, the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Foggia, the Basilica Shrine of St. Anthony Messina, the Sanctuary Maria SS. Annunziata di Giugliano in Campania, the Sanctuary of St. Mary Mother of the Church (Jaddico) just north of Brindisi, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Grotto of Modugno, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Grotto in Praia a Mare, the Sanctuary of Maria SS. Annunziata in Trapani, as well as in other churches and shrines that are engaging in this initiative.
