"The mother of all crises is spiritual! For a culture of encounter" is the theme of the conference sponsored by the Vatican Foundation "International Family Center of Nazareth," in the light of the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation "Amoris Laetitia." The meeting will be held in the John Paul II Auditorium of the Pontifical Urban University, on 21 September, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
"The greatest common good of every society is the family. Every person—explain the promoters—has the right to be born into a family! It is our responsibility not to lose this essential heritage and to transmit it as a valuable 'art of living' to the men and women of our time. On the occasion of the Year of Mercy, we would like to show that the family is the most stable and effective path of dialogue, unity and peace for all States, peoples, cultures and religions."
Salvatore Martinez, President of the Vatican Foundation " International Family Centre of Nazareth" will greet the participants and present of the significance of the conference. Lectures will then be given by Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Academy for Life and Grand Chancellor of the Pontifical John Paul II Institute; Mohammad Sammak, Secretary General of the Lebanese National Committee for Christian-Muslim Dialogue; and Irene Kajon, Professor of Moral Philosophy at "La Sapienza" in Rome.
