"The Wonders of Fertility" is the theme of the formation course sponsored by the Ut Vitam Habeant Foundation and the Association Donum Vitae that will begin on Saturday, 12 November at 8:30 am, in the Hall of the Pastoral Center of the Catholic University of Rome.
"This course—the organizers explain—is intended for doctors, health workers, students of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, psychologists, psychotherapists, educators, pastoral workers, and anyone who wants to be amazed and surprised by the beauty of the body and sexuality, as well as for persons who want to find out more about the ways of preserving and managing the gift of fertility by expanding their knowledge and beginning to live with a new awareness of the gift of life."
The course, under the direction of Cardinal Elio Sgreccia, and with the scientific coordination by Paola Pellicanò and Angelo Licameli, composed of six meetings, will "give a new understanding of human fertility on the scientific, anthropological, ethical, and psychosocial levels," revealing through intelligent and efficient action the wonder enclosed within the mystery of life that is being born.
