Is the family based on a stable union of a man and a woman with children still a resource for people and for society? Today there are a variety of ways in which individuals constitute a family. Is it really the same thing to form a family in one way or another? Should this diversity be promoted? What should be done? We briefly present the results of a sociological survey promoted in Italy by our Dicastery in order to deal with these questions in greater depth.
