On Tuesday, the 12th, at the Headquarters of the United Nations, a major event focused the attention of the delegates and the journalists working at the UN on the family.
The occasion was the presentation of a series of studies, sponsored by The Family Watch and made by some of the greatest specialists on family issues, and of some good practices developed in nine European countries.
The meeting, which was held in the framework of the events in preparation for the 20th anniversary of the International Year of the Family (2014), was attended, among others, by the general director of The Family Watch (
www.thefamilywatch.org), Ignacio Socìas, the coordinator of the United Nations’s “Family” program, Renata Kaczmarska, and the highest representatives of the International Federation for Family Development (
www.iffd.org).
