The family, a small church
Interview with Prof. Juan José Pérez-Soba Diez del Corral
On the sidelines of the International Congress on “New Evangelization and Family” entitled: “Family, Light of God in a Society without God”, which was held recently at the Pontifical “John Paul II” Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family (14-15 February), Professor Juan José Pérez-Soba Diez del Corral, professor of fundamental moral theology at the same Institute and coordinator of the conference, spoke with greater depth about the subjects of the meeting an interview with Msgr. Angelo Sceppacerca. The theme of family is interdisciplinary, with a view of the New Evangelization, and includes a theological, pastoral aspect and the perspective of the social sciences, because —said Prof. Pérez-Soba Diez del Corral— it concerns “the mission of the family in the world received from God.” The theology at its base is that of the family as a “small Church, a mystery of communion.”
