The audience, on April 20th , was an occasion to speak about Family
The President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, was received in audience by His Holiness Pope Francis, on April 20th,. The meeting lasted forty minutes and made it possible to address the issue of the family in all its aspects. The President took the opportunity to present the work of the Dicastery and the activities planned for the current year, recalling the first meeting of the Holy Father with Families on October 26th and 27th, on the occasion of the Pilgrimage of the families in Rome. The Pope warmly encouraged the work of the Pontifical Council for the Family, especially in this time of economic and spiritual crisis, in which one the urgency of the rediscovery of the value of the family is strongly felt. He also passionately urged to never forget the families who are in the greatest need, and reiterated the importance of being close to them in a special way.
