On the 30th anniversary of “Charter of the Rights of the Family” (22 October 1983), the editions of the Pontifical Council for the Family will be enriched by a new publication: the “Charter of the Rights of the Family”, which consists of an Introduction, a Preamble and 12 Articles. The text is accompanied by a Presentation as well as a Reading and Commentary by Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family.

Published by Libreria Editrice Vaticana (40 pages), this publication will accompany the days of study that the Pontifical Council has already planned for this year: the international seminar of the Catholic jurists from around the world (19, 20 and 21 September 2013), the XXI Plenary Assembly of the PCF (23, 24 and 25 October 2013) and the Meetings promoted in countries around the world to increase the awareness of various international Organizations engaged in the promotion of the rights of the family. The volume has been published in Italian, French, English and Spanish. The program also includes editions in Polish and Arabic.
