«
You are for me a real injection of energy and enthusiasm». That is what Msgr. Vincenzo Paglia said as he greeted the families of the Family Vicariate in the Diocese of San Bernardo, gathered for a time of exchange, reflection and prayer at the Diocesan House of the Family, together with their Bishop, Msgr. Juan Ignacio Gonzáles.
After many encounters and official meetings, which were certainly important and significant, the day of Sunday, May 26th was dedicated lastly to meeting with Chilean families at the National Shrine of Maipu, during the festive celebration of the Eucharist in the Chapel of the Holy Family in Santiago, in the context of the visit to the Diocese of San Bernardo. These were prized opportunities, which gave Msgr. Paglia the possibility to hear many stories, see ongoing projects, and meet numerous experiences marked by passion and enthusiasm. In his different interventions Msgr. Paglia repeatedly pointed to the Holy Trinity − whose solemnity was celebrated on that Sunday − as a mystery of communion that is also the basis communion within the family, and a tangible antidote to the diabolical risk of loneliness and separation.
The visit to Chile finally concluded with a meeting with the heads of various NGOs working in Chile in support of the family and of life.
