Like every year, on the feast of the Patron Saint of Santo Domingo, Our Lady of Altagarcia, the Bishops of this small Caribbean country have published a letter in which they invite the faithful to reflect on some important points of the Catholic faith. In tune with the universal Church, which is preparing for the Extraordinary Synod of Bishops and taking advantage of the UN’s International Year of the Family, on this occasion they have offered a reflection on the Christian family, as an irreplaceable asset for both the Church and society.
