The Pope of the Family
At the Pontifical John Paul II Institute in Rome, on March 20th and 21st, there will a conference on Wojtyła “Pope of the Family”
“John Paul II: The Pope of the Family” is the theme of an international conference that will be held on March 20th and 21st, starting at 9:00 am, in the Auditorium of the Pontifical John Paul II Institute in Rome. In view of the canonization of Blessed Pope John Paul II, which will be celebrated on April 27th, and the path of the synod that Pope Francis wants, the Institute, said the promoters, “intends to highlight the fruitfulness of the insights and teachings in the area of the pastoral care for families of the man whom we remember as ‘the Pope of the family and of life’.” The conference will be divided into four sessions: “John Paul II: the person and the ministry,” “Pastoral fruitfulness of John Paul II’s approach. Testimonials of Bishops,” “Pastoral fruitfulness of John Paul II’s approach. Testimonies of alumni of the Institute,” “Resources for family ministry in the face of current challenges.”
