The Families of the Church Attract other Families
At its Fourth General Congregation, the Extraordinary Synod goes deeper into the issues. On Tuesday afternoon, the PCF also gave to all those present a copy of the Enchiridion on the family
The intense debate in the Extraordinary Synod on the family continues. On Tuesday afternoon, His Holiness was present, as always, to accompany the 182 members of the IV General Congregation in their discussion of issues such as the impact of work affecting the family today, the challenges that the family unit faces in Africa, and the "dictatorship of unitary thought," which seeks to introduce into society "countervalues that destroy families today, weakening people and, consequently, rendering society fragile. It is therefore important to recover in the faithful the awareness of belonging to the Church, as the Church grows by attraction and the families of the Church attract other families." Moreover, the PCF donated to each of the Synod members a copy of the Enchiridion on the family.
