A Church Attentive to the Family  Archbishop Tria Tirona of the Philippines received by Msgr. Lafitte
 In Rome to receive the Pallium from Pope Francis on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Rolando Joven Tria Tirona, Archbishop of Nueva Caceres (Philippines) was received by H. E. Msgr. Laffitte, Secretary of the Council. Msgr. Tria Tirona, formerly head of the Episcopal Commission for the Family, discussed the possibilities of collaboration between his Archdiocese and our Dicastery. For years the church of Nueva Caceres has been sending young priests to Rome to receive specialized training, including on issues concerning the family and life. One of these priests, Rev. Father William Santiago, has already had the opportunity to collaborate with the Dicastery from time to time.
