The countdown has started for the participation in the initiatives of the children, adolescents and young people, promoted by the Pontifical Council for the Family on the occasion of the International Pilgrimage “Families, Experience the Joy of Faith” to the tomb of St. Peter in Rome, on October 26th and 27th. The closing date for the submission of musical proposals (songs, animation and performing arts) on the theme of the family, at the concourse “Family Talents,” has been extended to September 30th. If you are a young person between 18 and 32 years old, send your work to this email address: roma2013@family.va . The proposals that are selected will be performed live at the “Festival of Music and Christian Witness” on Saturday, October 26th, , in Saint Peter’s Place. On September 30th, the time limit also expires for the participation of children between 3 and 12 years in the selection: “Present your family to Pope Francis.” The best pictures of your family sent in A4 electronic format to the same email address: roma2013@family.va  will be given to Pope Francis, who will participate in the Pilgrimage with families, and will be published in both “Il Giornalino” and "G Baby". October 15th, however, is the closing date for the photo contest on facebook, for teenagers between 13 and 18 years, “Life... in HD.” Even those who can’t be participate physically in the Pilgrimage can share their photos and say, on the Facebook profile of the Pontifical Council for the Family, what a fully lived life is for them.
